There are easy or harder routes for cycling depending on your preference. We have a selection of bicycles for hire.
Discover the shade of small woodlands or admire the beautiful sunflower and rapeseed fields. Look out for the different species of bird of prey and red deer. The area is dotted with picturesque stone villages and chateaus. There are picnic areas on route would you fancy a rest or something to eat.
Although we are in a rural area we are only 10 minutes drive from amenities: supermarkets, French food markets, restaurants, bars, clothes shops etc

Réjallant at Ruffec: Popular for swimming in the summer. Beautiful part of the river with a picturesque weir and bridges connecting small islands. The clear water is suitable for all ages, the children’s beach is with a life guard during school holidays. Canoe, pedal boat and paddle board hire. Canoe down the river to chateau de Verteuil.
