Camping La Forêt de Tessé is a 10 pitch campsite with 2 fully furnished Bell tents, each tent have their own private cooking cabin. 8 grass pitches or 4 hard standing pitches are available, 1 is fully serviced. The campsite is open all year.

The campsite is on approximately 2 acre level green field adjoining our property. The unmarked pitches are very spacious; there is plenty of room to enjoy. All pitches have access to drinking water and electricity (10 Amp), some have picnic tables. There are shady areas if you would like shelter from the sun. Barbecues are allowed on your pitch or there is a communal barbecue area with a chimney barbecue. Dogs are welcome on the campsite, sorry no dogs allowed in our bell tents.
We chose this location for its warm climate and peacefulness where you can enjoy nature and experience French rural living. The campsite has a laid back atmosphere where you can really chill out and enjoy your holiday. We have amazing sunsets and night skies as we have no light pollution.
We have a vegetable garden, you can try our produce depending on what is in season


Our luxury heated shower block has disabled and baby facilities, a fridge/freezer for tent guests, washing machine and tumble dryer.
The in-ground 10 m x 5 m swimming pool is opened from mid May to mid September. The pool is not heated, but the water temperature in summer reaches 30 C°.We have good Wi-Fi coverage, which is free of charge. There is a motorhome service point and a chemical toilet disposal.
Our campsite is ideal for longer holidays or for stopovers. We are near the routes that lead down to Spain. The N10 non toll motorway is 10 minutes drive and the A10 toll motorway is 30 minutes drive. Please follow our directions for easy access to the campsite. You will be given an information folder on arrival that contains all useful information about the area: restaurants, markets, places to visit and activities.


There is also information about the immediate area of the campsite with suggested routes if you would like to go cycling or drive around the stone villages, churches and private chateaus. If you don’t have your own bicycles you can rent ours for a small fee.
