Camping La Forêt de Tessé is a 10 pitch campsite with 2 fully furnished bell tents each with its own kitchen cabin. We are a couple called Mark and Ildiko and we created this campsite using our own experience from motorhoming and we included everything we liked about campsites.
The campsite is on approximately 2 acre level green field adjoining our property. The unmarked pitches are very spacious; there is plenty of room to enjoy. 8 grass pitches and 2 hard standing pitches are available, 1 is fully serviced.
All pitches have access to water and electricity (10 Amp), some have picnic tables. There are shady areas if you would like shelter from the sun. Barbecues are allowed on your pitch or there is a communal barbecue area with a chimney barbecue.Dogs are welcome on the campsite, sorry no dogs allowed in our bell tents. If you have more than 2 dogs please contact us.
The campsite is Open All Year

We chose this location for its warm climate and peacefulness where you can enjoy nature and experience French rural living. The campsite has a laid back atmosphere where you can really chill out and enjoy your holiday. We have amazing sunsets and night skies as we have no light pollution.
We have a vegetable garden, you can try our produce depending on what is in season.

Our luxury heated shower block has disabled and baby facilities, a fridge/freezer for tent guests, washing machine and tumble dryer.
The in-ground 10 m x 5 m swimming pool is opened from mid May to mid September. The pool is not heated, but the water temperature in summer reaches 30 C°.

We have good Wi-Fi coverage, which is free of charge. There is a motorhome service point and a chemical toilet disposal.

Our campsite is ideal for longer holidays or for stopovers. We are near the routes that lead down to Spain. The N10 non toll motorway is 10 minutes drive and the A10 toll motorway is 30 minutes drive.  Please follow our directions for easy access to the campsite.
You will be given an information folder on arrival that contains all useful information about the area: restaurants, markets, places to visit and activities. There is also information about the immediate area of the campsite with suggested routes if you would like to go cycling or drive around the stone villages, churches and private chateaus. If you don’t have your own bicycles you can rent ours for a small fee.
If needed we are on hand to help with advice, reservations etc.
