From the N10 non-toll road to Grosbout our hamlet (about 10 minutes drive)

Leave the N10 motorway at Ruffec (Postcode: 16700) at the exits for the ‘D26’ for Villefagnan – Bernac/Montjean/Sauzé Vaussais then head towards Bernac/Montjean/Sauzé Vaussais.  Continue on the D26 and after about 1 mile you get to Bernac.  Drive through the village and continue down the D26.  Keep going straight and you get into Montjean.  The road bends to the right, after the bend take the first left signposted for La Forêt de Tessé.  The road immediately splits into two, keep left on the D303.  Keep going straight and you will get into La Forêt de Tessé, the Mairie (Mare’s office building) and the church will be on your right.  Carry on straight out of the village and you will come to a cross road with a crucifix, keep going straight here signposted to Grosbout and L’Houmelee.  After the Grosbout village sign the road bends to the right with a horse paddock on your right.  After the bend at the junction turn left.  The entrance to our campsite is just on the right there.
For the entrance to our gite turn right after the bend at the junction and then immediately left. The entrance to the gite is the first gate on your left. You will see the back of the house on your left as you drive in.

From the A10/E5 Toll road to Grosbout our hamlet (about 25 minutes drive)

Leave the A10/E5 at Exit 32 for Limoges, Angoulême.  Keep following the signs for Angoulême & Limoges and stay on the D948. Continue on  the D948 until you pass Sauzé Vaussais and you see the supermarket Super U on your right. Turn right on D113 as if you were going to the supermarket.  Turn right again after passing the supermarket car park on your right. You will get to a roundabout; take the second exit (turn left) to D54. At the next junction turn left onto the D54 to leave Sauzé Vaussais. Keep driving on the D54 and you will get into Montjean. After passing the centre of the village turn right onto the road signposted for La Forêt de Tessé.  The road immediately splits into two, keep left on the D303.  Keep going straight and you will get into La Forêt de Tessé, the Mairie (Mare’s office building) and the church will be on your right.  Carry on straight out of the village.  Keep going straight and you will come to a cross road with a crucifix.
